As a first-born generation American of Dominican parents, I am richly blessed to be the mother of two beautiful daughters and wife to a Retired Navy Chief Veteran. My family and I began our journey in San Antonio, Texas. After my husband joined the Navy, we quickly transitioned into the adventurous life that comes with being a military family. We have had some fascinating journeys in some incredible places that we have been fortunate enough to call home. Some of those places included: Lisbon Portugal; Naples Italy; Puerto Rico; Virginia Beach, Virginia; New Orleans, Louisiana; and San Diego, California. In 2015 our journey brought us back to where it all began- San Antonio, our home. With each move and relocation, I consistently gained firsthand knowledge of the obstacles and challenges that can arise when obtaining a rental, buying, or selling a home during a military relocation.

Since obtaining my real estate license in 2016, I have made it my primary focus to serve the real estate needs of Military Veterans and be their CONSUMER ADVOCATE! I do not rest until I have ensured that each and every one of my clients’ experience excellence, professionalism and knowledge of the real estate investment process.

I have assisted 100+ families in selling, purchasing, and/or renting a property. I hold several designations and certifications:(ABR) Accredited Buyer Representative; (CPE) Client Protection Expert; (CRMS) Certified Military Residential Specialist; (NHC) New Home Construction and Buyer Representative; (PSA) Pricing Strategy Advisor; (SRS) Seller Representative Specialist; and Member of Veterans Association of Real Estate Professionals (VAREP). My hard work and dedication to my clients has been greatly rewarded with prestigious recognitions. I was selected as one of Platinum’s Top 500 - 2020 Semi-Finalists as well as The National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (NAHREP) Top 100 - Latino Realtors 2018. In addition, I was nominated and won Military Spouse of the Year for Joint Base San Antonio two years in a row-2017 and 2018. For our brokerage, I was awarded the Rising Star-2016, Spirit Award-2017 Chairman’s Club- 2016 and 2018, Executive Club 2018 and 2019, 100’s Club 2018 and 2019.

In my downtime, I love gathering with close friends and enjoying a glass a wine, trying out new local restaurants, exploring hidden gems outside of San Antonio, or taking trip to the coast to hear those soothing ocean waves!

Karen is a homegrown native of San Antonio, Texas! With over 20 years in the real estate industry, Karen is an expert in all that San Antonio real estate has to offer – from its “big city/small town” charm to its beautiful historic districts to its established neighborhoods, new construction, and up and coming/trendy spots!
